Looks great man! Has anyone used SprayMax 2k clear ? I've heard it makes a world of a difference when using rattle cans.

**BTW I do have a cheap Harbor Freight gun and compressor which I painted my old Cbr with however, it's all in storage in another state and there's no way I'm buying a 3rd compressor just to paint track skins.

I have over urethane paint. It works pretty good. You will get some FLA from it but wet sanding will get it out.

Cheap acrylic paint from the local hardware store- it only needed to last 2 race rounds.
Looked great (from a distance )

Did a motorcycle in metal flake rattle can green maybe 15 years ago. Looked good from 10 feet, so it did the trick as far as I was concerned.

It did not hold up well in the presence of spilled gasoline.

I understand that the paint stayed soft for a long time, due to the solvents that are used in the rattle cans.

Without lights or a heat source, how long does it take for typical home depot kinds of rattle can paints to cure?

The 250 was all white prior to the repaint.

That looks great. I'm surprised you used engine paint. That duplicolor green looks to be a really close match to Kawasaki lime green!

Yep, it is called grabber green. I did some digging and found that it was a pretty damn good match for 5$ /can at your local
Automotive stoor as opposed as paying the whatever high price for your house of color or whatever x brand it is that actually has the matching Kawi green color code

Yessir, can't beat it for the price. I wanna say it was advance auto parts that had it.. Yep found it. Look up a store near you or you can order some online like Amazon.

At first glance most won't appreciate the work you've put into this bike. That is until they read the your build thread. One of my favorite builds for sure.
