I plan on doing a lot of work once the winter hits, changing a lot on this bike making it mine. The previous owner was not gentle with her so it's time to polish her up, even the chain was rusted to pieces. So she's in the shop today sadly while it's nice out but hey I'm working 12's this week so I wont be able to really ride anyways. Anyways plans to change are Fairings, Grips/Levelers, Mirrors, tail light, neons, sliders, Etc. Anyways feel free to leave ideas, this is my first project bike that I'll actually do my best to keep, and keep her pristine partly due to the warranty I bought when I got the bike long as they don't screw me. No that's not true, I've own a Ninja 250, and a Katana 750 but this bike was like love at first sight. I've normally did my own handy work in the garage like Valve jobs etc but this time I'd like to leave her in better hands, that's not true either. Treat your bike like she's your woman, treat her with care and love, but give her attention when she's frisky. Here's some pictures of her now and some links to give a idea of future. I may not even end up doing any of this, I've never been artsy to do my own actual custom bikes like a lot people do but even adding one thing makes it mine right?
P.S Would I look silly riding around in a one piece? I've seen some bikers do it or some wear nothing at all (Squid) But today it was 95 degrees and I still wore my Jacket, Boots, and gloves (Helmet too). Even had some other bike in a t-shirt and shorts ask me about it in traffic. I may have had sweat dripping off my face but that asphalt would feel a lot worse. I may sit and burn 20lbs in traffic but that's just making room for more yummies later.
