ZX6R Color Scheme - White/Red vs. Matte Black/Red?

I've been wanting to complete this project for a while now - this years the year.

I have a '07 silver/red combo ZX6R. I want to throw on new fairings, and am strongly leaning towards the White/Red combo. But the matte black/red combo isn't bad either.

I'm fairly certain I'm going the white/red combo because you just don't see it often, and ZX6R made a black version for this model year. Still, I'm curious which route you'd go with this beautiful monster in disguise.

If you want something more interesting than pure white, Auctmarts does custom graphics, and my brother is a designer who could work with you to create something cool. Might cost a little more but it'd be unique.

Both would look great. If your leaning toward white/red I'd stick with that, less chance of regret. Welcome to the forum.

White is definitely more unique. All of The Big Four offer their sportbikes, or have recently offered their 600/1K in matte black. It seems matte black is really not the new black. It's the follow the crowd colour.

Now, if anyone out in the Ethernet has a matte black 6R, I don't mean to impune your ride. I'm just saying the odds of seeing another black sportbike, sizable.

I believe if you are already leaning towards the white than Upland is correct - less chance of "buyer's remorse."

White and red, had a white '13 ZX6R and loved the color. I like the solid white that shows off the shape of the bike. Just my opinion. Whatever you do it will be your own unique bike and will show that.

I need to get busy and do some mods to my bike - have only added grime and tire wear so far this year!

ugh, this just keeps scratching the itch I have to change my color scheme. I just recently got he 06 SE silver red, the previous owner debadged it and removed the flames.. I dont know if i want to restore it to originality or go with another color scheme entirely.
