One night my and about a group of 15 bikes were chillen up in santa barbara (CA), heading back to ventura I break off the pack and do about 130mph (speed limit is 65mph), 2 other guys follow me. We keep an average of 130 the whole way back (about 30 miles or so). We get off the freeway and stop at the light and I see a cop behind us.

I tell the two other guys, he we're gonna get pulled over, I guarantee it. Sure enough when the light turns green, he turns on his lights, so we pull over.

The cop tells us to shut off our bikes and remove the key from the ignition and to remove our helmets, we comply; as soon as we do he comes up and ask for our stuff and asks, do you know why you guys got pulled over? and I chuckled and said sorta but never mind. He says no go ahead tell me. So I proceed to say well, we're riding sport bikes and it's near midnight on a weekend. He chuckles and says sort of, then proceeds to tell us that they got a report of 3 motorcycles doing speed in excess of 100mph on the 101 (the highway we just got off of). I told him that we were with a group of 15 or so and we broke off cuz we were heading to base and we saw some bikes pass by us but had no clue who they were.

At this point there's 4 cop cars and 2 motorcycle cops all with their lights on and had us sitting on the curb. We sat there for almost an hour, then they started pointing out everything that was illegal on my bike according to CA law (had FL plates at the time).

Then they finally let us off with a warning and advised me to comply with the local laws.

Its the same way in GA outside of Atlanta. 100+ = jail time, automatic license suspension, speeding ect. Also corrupt and poor lol they disbanded a drug task force called RED DOG in 2011 because it was so corrupt

Alright heres my story.

Last night I was running around with two guys I had met earilier the other day. One was on a VTR 1000 and the other a 04 R1. So we're just south of VA hitting backroads in 50 degree weather blah blah just having a good time punching it through some corners. At one point the two liter bikes decided to let me lead becuase the entire time I had been in the back not knowing the area. So I'm leading we're on a straight, we're all punching it and I not sure what I hit as I try to keep my eyes on the road.

Fast forward

I drop back to the bake not knowing what the next set of turns to make and start to see familiar headlights in my rear view. I know that a charger is pulling up on me fast so I start to slow down. The charger a close distance to my tire... I'm fucked... I'm already pulled over before he hits his lights. State Trooper comes over the intercom and tells me to move in a parking lot (we're in the country some where btw). Soooo I pull in, start taking off all my gear and cop asks us what we're doing, granted my buddies didn't know I was being pulled over and proceeded to keep speed. I was the only one that pulled over.

I inform the cop that I was out just trying to have a good time and that I didn't know the guys I was riding with (truth). Cop asks for my license, how long ive been riding, did I enjoy living, and told me there was a time and place for this [can you believe it track reference!]. Told me that he admired that I pulled over and it stated alot about character and that he should have went after my buddies... I'm thinking yeah as they were defiantly hauling more ass than I was on the straights. At some point, my buddies came back around looking for me, saw lights and kept going.

Cop tells me that hes not going to ticket me and proceeds to chase after my buddies.


Suck'd for them.

I don't post much on here, but..

I was riding with two other friends on this route:

Colorado Springs, CO to Cripple Creek, CO - Google Maps

I was on my 08 ZX6R, my buddy was on his 650r, and the other guy was on a 636. I was leading, and we were going a bit over the speed limit (80 in a 55). We were just cruising, going around slow traffic, you know, the normal. I decide to drop to the back, and a few minutes later I see the ole' red and blue flashing behind me. I pull over and my two friends keep going.

The cop follows me, and tells me he has someone pulling the friends over up ahead. And makes me drive up there to meet them.

So he says to me and the 650r 'I'm not giving you guys tickets because I didn't see you do anything crazy, but I'm giving you one' (to the 636). At this point, all the 636 rider had done was swerve around traffic. One cop starts to write him a reckless driving ticket, and another cop says to us, 'You know if you guys had been riding Harley's, we wouldn't have pulled you over'.

Of course, I couldn't help but respond with 'We wouldn't have been pulled over because Harley's don't even go fast'. The cop gets all up in my face talking about how hes going to tow my bike back to the impound lot, dismantle it and look for drugs in the tires and blah blah blah. My friend is giving me a death stare, so I shut up. The cop then gives us the whole 'have you ever seen someone die?' speech, so we sit there for half an hour lecturing us.

He went to court and got it dropped. They didn't use a speed gun either, so they couldn't play that angle. I think my friend's defense was, 'I was in control of my motorcycle the entire time and know what I'm capable of. How is that reckless?'.

Didn't say I do the speed limit lol. I go as fast as I want whenever I want. I just take precautions. Like i know where they all sit at what times and on what days and on what roads and the local cops wont even try to pull you over unless you are doing wheelies in a parking lot or something.

Im a bit of a lurker on here but for this ill post..not as crazy as some of you

sorry for the length

Just heading home around midnight and I was then (still now) a squid so I was not speeding too much just 5-10 over really following another car. This cager goes into the turning lane slowly down and suddenly turns into me! I swerve and throw a arm up seeing a old man but didnt care so I speed up so I can get away from him before my turn. Right as I turn almost get rear ended by another car (maybe 1 min between two accidents). Thinking he is this college kid being a crazy driver I again speed go faster to get away and shortly pull into my house. Right after a car skids on my sidewalk and I think dang going to get beat up..as I get my foot on the ground cherries and berries are flashing so my next thought was what did I do. Being good i put a one second finger up and take off my helmet. By the time I do this 3 more cop cars are next to me with a helicopter light on me. I felt like I was on cops. Anyways a bunch get out with armed weapons on me saying dont move as I was obviously standing there. They all thought I was running...from what? and said I was driving recklessly and going to kill my self bla bla bla
I go to court for a "broken" tail light which was fine before I went inside. Give me a ticket for no brake light, driving light, and turn signals. I didnt argue seeing how it would do no good because these guys were out to get me.

When I went to court my prosecutor was a motorcycle cop and the judge was making jokes the whole time so waved everything off and had me out before I was scheduled
