Modded 07 zx6r vs 08 gsxr 750

Whats up everyone I am a new rider, only 5 months in. I have about 10k miles riding experience. I ride a lot, and I ride hard... (that's what she said.) Anywho the past few weeks I have been putting a little bit of money in my 07 zx6r. Stock this bike run about 100rwhp and the 08 Gsxr 750 has 125rwhp. I added Two Brothers full stainless pipe, K&N air filter, and -1 tooth front sprocket. That's it. After I added the mods to the bike, it did feel like she pulled a lot harder then in stock form. So my boy J, wanted to test it out agains his 750. Of course I agreed.

Me (Bino) and J lined up on the freeway 60mph in 2nd gear, We both took off, and of course i pulled on him early because I was putting down more power while his rpms were still climing. By the time i was in third he caught up because the split second it took me to shift and the fact he was at 15000k rpm, when he shifted into 3rd we were perfectly even, i shifted into 4th he pulled an inch or two. When he shifted I gained a small amount of ground, but stayed mostly even. This continued to until we reached 175mph on the speedometer. When we slowed down, I was excited to keep even with him from 60-175 when we finally ran out of road. I asked him at the next check point did you give it your all? He said "HELL YES!! I was at full throttle!" He said he made no mistakes in shifting or anything.

Honestly I couldnt believe $1200 in mods did that well without serious engine modifications. Do ya'll think this is legit? We lined up several more times and the same outcome. He has been riding since he was 15 and he's 22. Like i said before I have been riding for 5 months.

My mods: TWO BRO FULL PIPE
K&N AIR FILTER,
-1 FRONT SPROCKETS.

HERE'S A VIDEO ME VS A GSXR-600! MAYBE THE MODS DID HELP. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUY'S THINK.

SORRY FOR THE GRAMMER MUCH LUV TO THE PEOPLE WHO WATCH!

It's not funny, and you shouldn't be laughing. If you don't care for your own life, take someone else's into consideration, there is no excuse. I don't care how far the track is. The kicker is the fact that you just admitted to the fact that you know what you did is stupid. What you just told me is you don't know how to think rationally.

+1

and the kicker is not only are you doing those speeds on a public roadway, but you are doing them with only 5 months of riding experience.

The risk you are taking far surpasses your skill level.

Call me crazy yes... But I have goals of being a pro rider.. I have little money and can't just hit ride tracks every weekend.. Down here all we have is our canyons. Personally if I die doing what I love than I know I died chasing my dream... I always had the passion to race. Call me sentimental, but I would race my moms car on my big wheel when she got home from work. I was born to do this.. I been riding 5 months and can keep up on in the twisties with those who have been riding for years. I have to practice some how. I pray to God I don't go over a cliff, but you only get better with practice, right! Some people have their bikes for show, (nice paint job, cool lights, and graphics, but I was built to go fast. Started with running, then bicyicles, then cars, now bikes. I'm not going to ride hard on freeways, but the canyons are my practice fields. I do understand the risks involved and I do take into consideration of others. But a person texting and driving or talking on their cell phone do not take me into consideration. Those are the everyday dangers that we do not think about. Honestly I respect everything you told me and clearly you are a lot more mature then I am, but I want to pursue my race dreams.. I will be taking the race class in LA this October.. Wish me luck

Much luv and respect sir

Bino.

Think of this...do we really think all the best riders in the world never took risks? Only cruised until they got the opportunity to take on a track? Knee dragging with thick ass chicken strips? Humph....

Bino.

Take it to an empty road. A public highway is no place for goofing off. Do it at night when nobody is around. What will you tell the children of the mother of father that crashed and died because you felt like you have the right to endanger others? You being such a new rider and going weaving through traffic like that , it's only a matter of time before you kill yourself and or someone else.

The problem is that he's doing it on a public road with other motorists. If this was any other time or an empty road, I don't think anyone would have a problem. There is no excuse and stop trying to stick up for him. You'll make him think what he's doing is right.
