The transam should, but there's always a lot of factors involved

It depends really, if it really is 550hp, if its all motor, supercharged or turbo'd, if it was a flawless run, if his tires hook up, so many different factors the only way to know is to give it a try.

SAYS to me means that he doesn't have that much power and even if he does he's probably telling you engine horsepower and not what it puts to the ground. There is a percentage loss of power from engine to wheels. Granted it is less with a manual transmission if it was 550 at the motor it would most likely be less than 500 at the wheels. I think you'll win if you launch and shift good.

Good point.
He also said he raced a gsxr 750 and won.
but the rider could have been a shitty rider, since its a lot harder to race on a bike than in a car.

So its 550 with nitrous. Is it an lt1/ls1/ws6 ? That would matter

When I opened this thread I was expecting a video. Lol. But in this situation if he is really pushing this numbers I would say run him with his nitrous off. To me that would be fare. If you win then run him while he is spraying. I think if you shift perfect you should take him without the nitrous. Cause he still has a lot of clutch travel plus shifting distance. That would be your advantage point.

Oh so what he's saying is he's got 375 at the motor plus a 175 shot making it 550, well then you'll destroy him bro. Unlike how retarded movies like the fast and the furious try and make no seem like the spray is a ticket to light speed, its really not like an instant 175 at the push of a button, its a progressive thing so that near the end of the shot it would of built its way up to around 175. But by then u would of walked away.

What is done weight and suspension wise. 550 ain't shit if he's heavy. And from a dig or a roll.

I ate up a 600+ hp (
Nitrous), 10 second trans am from a 40 roll. My mods at that time were exhaust, +2 rear sprocket and my bikes been on a diet.
