What is the pipe coming out of the tail of each motogp bike? I don't think its an exhaust because they have a side exhaust already? If anyone has any idea please post!

Exhaust, it's a V4 = one 2 into 1 pipe on the side, one 2 into 1 pipe under the tail. Google and you'll see a picture of an engine.

Yup... V4 2-stokes FTW! - each cyliner with it's own pipe and expansion chamber. GOD I love smokers... they smell so good! And go SO FAST!!!

Wayne Rainey's Marlboro bike... you can see the 4 exhaust pipes.

I'd always wondered this too, I thought it was just part of the frame or something. Thanks OP

They curve it to help with back pressure, mostly increasing down low torque. Sorta like the new yoshi pipes for then Gen 4 zx10r

The welds on that titanium, phwoar......it's indecent. The curve's down to lack of space/routing, don't need much low down torque.
