question about 1/4 mile and extended swingarm?

I did last summer with
bald rear tire and me being 200lbs.

yoshi rs3 exhaust and k and n intake filter and factory pro +4 timing plate, and dynojet carb jet kit. +2 rear sprocket and -1 front . gold oring chain

my bike dynoed 100.24 rwhp...which is close to 120 at the engine. with no ram air effect.

i went to the track being a complete noob racing and mt best time was 11.9

116.25mph. with 94 pump gas tuned af ratio at 13.1-1

my bike the whole time had a huge wheeling issue...i couldnt keep it down on the ground.

1rst gear i could only feather the gas....

2ns only half at most and it would come off the ground.

3rd full

4th full etc...

i know all the guys there had extended rear swingarms and lowered there bikes...

my question is....

no i got a new rear tire...and way more stuff...but

i lowered the front down 1 inch and i got a new dog bone to lower the rear 1 inch...considering im 6'2" this is good for me...the bike looks slammed now...

i just ordered the 4-7" adjustable rear swingarm extension for my bike with the chain and brake line.

my question is

how much does it really help you launch.

like if i did 11.90 before with the lowering and extended rear swingarm plating the wheelie power down maybe i get 11.5? or better??

can anyone gimme some solid advice??

i have nos on my bike now and a new top end inc pistons and rings and the head was redone racing spec full port and polish and head was shaved 200 thou for more compression.

forgeting all the other stuff...

11.9 to 11.5 sound reasonable?? or should a good driver on a good day do low 11??

the stretch/lowering is going to help you out a ton. it will allow you to get out the hole alot faster while keeping that throttle locked. your bike is well capiable of runnin 10's easily even your size just gotta practice seat time is the key to going fast at the track.

Thanxs i figured

my biggest issue was keeping the front down in1rst and 2nd gear i was at half or less at some point.

and now....i got the parts to do the 4-7" myrtle west exteneders and the kit with chain and brake line.

im excited..i love the way a lowered zx6r looks when its stretched and lowered.

im hoping for low 11 without nos.....and with nos into the mid 10s . or better.

i just dont want to over sell myself untill i get the tuning down with the nos.

on motor if your bike is well tune it should run 10's once you stretch/lower it. i will tell you the zx6r's love gearing... so throw some gear on her and launch with them rpms high and shift right before redline and she run 10's fo sho man.

should i go bigger on the back ??

is the idea should i be reline 6th gear when i finsh the 1/4mile

i was 5th gear redline...now...a bigger rear sprocket would gimme more.

what are the rear sprockets you all use

he was pissed.

he had a 50 tooth rear sprocket he told me...

You're golden the way you are, don't get the 50. The busa guy may have the bike, but he can't ride for shit if he didn't break 9.99 with those mods you mentioned.

My zx14 stock as a rock with a 6 inch stretch put up a best of 9.7 @ 138 with my brother riding @ 250Lbs w/o gear... Not sure of suited weight.

YOUR bike.... ^^ Is going to be very interesting. Without nitrous.... I think with 100ish HP you COULD dig deep into the 10s.... 10.7 maybe? Not sure.... But with your stretch... Shoot for a 60 foot time of 1.5.... It's a lofty goal, but, the better your 60, the better your run will be. That's where I've seen a lot of 600 riders make up for the smaller engine.
If it was me, I'd be trying for a 10.7 all motor, 10.00 on motor-roids

that gearing you have is a good street/strip gear but -1 +5 is the gear of choice for the zx6r's. you want to be in the top of 6th gear when you cross the finish line.

my bike dynoed 100.24 rwhp last spring with 94 pump gas and me being noob but i couldnt get it past 11.90 i was mad.

all the guys there had the drop and extended swingarm doing 10s that day .

i know my bike should have around 105 rwhp now after the rebuid port and polish and shaved head.

i did lower the whole bike 1 inch.

and i think its just my weight, like im 200lbs. and the fact that the bike came off the ground 1rst and 2nd like crazy...

im excited for spring cause im gonna get a egt guage and hook it up so i can tune the nos roughly with the egt....there cheap now.

and i know a pro light driver can do 10s but i just think im not pro.

i guess we will see.

lol you guys know my cars huh come on.
LOL

ive been racing and modding cars since i was 16 pretty much...i had a dirbike that i learned on when i was 14.

i got 4 years of teenager dirtbiking....so i wasnt a virgin riding my bike.

I shoulda bought a bike a long ass time ago.

I love all dsms.... ive had a 1990 since 2000 and last year i took my 93 awd and converged them .

so now i have the 1 93 awd turbo 5 speed...with the 6 bolt fully built 2.35 stroker motor with every mod...cams ...head is done....everything.

1150cc inj dsmlink v3 supra fuel pump....upgraded fuel lines.

meth/water inj.... fmic... i have a 600hp pte t3 t4 turbo....

the awd tranny was rebuilt fully and has a lsd front diff and 4 spyder center diff from magnus.

23 spline transfercase.....

4 bolt lsd rear end. front 650hp driveshaftshop axels.

act flywheel act 2600 pp....solid act disc. 6 puc ceramic.

the body has my redcar bodykit...and i did it all and i painted it candy orange now.

gold rims....245 40 17 rubber all the way around.

nos powershot 50hp to 150hp.

dual nos purge.

3inch exhaust.

af ratio guage inside...and tons more.

i love all cars....

i just really have respect for a 2.0l motor...6 bolt that has cast iron block closed deck and dohc head that can pump out crazy power....

i havnt lost to anyone down the street in 5 years....

no joke that only with 25 psi no nos....

in order for me to pass etest i have to switch everything back to stock every 2 years...

cams....fuel inj.....chip....and it has to have a good cat converter which it does...

and then it has to have the stock intake manifold...

i had a magnus knock off but i had to sell it because it doesnt pass without egr valve.

anyways....

i have the stock intake manifod right now....and it still did 12.4

if i had the intake manifold... on my setup thats another 50 hp....so it would put me 11.90 with 25 psi pump gas....

and on racing fuel maybe 30 35 psi..... 11.5 11.2...sih....

and if i run a 50shot nos 10.7 ish...

if it all holds...

lol

ive had these cars and blown that same 6 bolt block 6 times...and the tranny 7 times...and im on my 30th clutch setup right now...altho this is the best one yet...
racing clutchs hold the hp and tq but they dont last more than 15000kms on the street.

im not kidding.

all my friends know me...lol...i owned cambridge for a lot of years...and thats when i had way less stuff...

but.

i love modding cars...

i love all dsms...i even do tons of work for ppl for $$ on the side....civics to...integras..crx.
i had a crx and a civic with swaps...but then i got the dsm and i was like wow.
