Hey Mud, is that the closest thing to a track we have around orange county? I want to get started on tracking but the closest ones to me are in the middle of nowhere

Dude Fontana is only like an hour away from your location. Consider yourself lucky, most other people have to travel 3-4 hours to their local track. We are fortunate we have Fontana it's also only an hour away from me and buttonwillow like 2 1/2 hours away. I haven't been to either yet but I plan on it in the next few months.

How much did you paid for the track day? Was is it an open event or part of race school?

Fontana is typically $250/day w/20 min sessions.
Takes me 3.5 to 4 hours to get to Willow/Chuckwalla but cost is $130-$150.
Figure saving 4 hours drive time & 10-15 gallons of fuel driving to Willow/Chuck it even itself out....kinda.
