Well I ordered my plastics yestarday. Today ordered Galfer lines and EBC pads. Spooned on some Q2's and 90 degree valve stems today. Last week I put on some Speedy Moto clipons and some new Pro Grips. I think I may have to go to a full system with the body work but Ill try some engineering. I'd rather spend the cash in other ways. I found a photoshop of how I'm going with the paint.
So I may be selling my complete Vivid yellow stock stuff Tank, Fender, Upper, Lower and Tail with solo cover. |

Man... I think I'll be doing the same thing after I get a dual sport to cruise these straight lines on.
LOVE that idea for the color scheme. Very 1991 ZX-7R. |

One reason iv always loved track bike schemes is because people are not afraid to step outside the box...you my friend took that box, dropped a big duece in it and sent it on its way! Looking forward to this build Good luck pal

Got a big box today heres some progress.
Speedy moto clipons
Pulled from the box and primed.
Now some color.
Tomorrow I will clear the fender and the rear cowl. The white on the upper should be dry enough for me to tape up and spray the green. I have a tank I bought that I will strip and prime.

I'm trying to save as much of my budget for more important things. The products used so far are from Rustolem (spray cans). So far its looking really good. I did like five coats today wet sanded with 1500 each 2 coats. I ended up with one small run in the blue and a bug landed in the blue when I brought it in the garage. Tomorrow is the moment of truth when I tape the white to spray the green. BTW the green is a gloss engine enamal and is so very close to the Kawi green.

Received 66% my brake lines and 66% of my pads from Cycle Gear. Installed front lines(Galfer) waiting on the rear to show up. I ordered EBC HH sinters all around. I received 1 set of fronts and the rears waiting for another set of fronts. Very little paint work left to do hopefully done and mounted this weekend. Track days coming soon!!!!!!
