Voltage Regulator mounting for Race Bike (09-12)

Hey Group, finishing up a race bike build on a current (09-12) ZX6R. How and where have you all been mounting the Voltage Regulator. Post picture if you have them.

Mine is just secured to my ram air box.

If you search rectifier relocation on Kawiforums you will see a more detailed description, some fabricate a bracket to put it there as well.

I drilled a hole on the inside of the upper and just put a bolt and nut on.

CCS EX
More gas, less brake

If you read the kawasaki race manual it says to mount it under the rear seat above the hugger.

But no way in hell am I re-routing that wire harness...

Throttle up, knee down and pray!
My monster decals make 20 ft-lbs of static pressure transducer horsepower to the vtec controller boost gauge!

I believe the race manual is referring to the race harness which routes it to the back. I like it at the front I feel it gets better ventilation there, but I could be wrong as I assume Kawi knows more than me....

Reviving this old thread, @smokey11 what do you do with the wiring harness? I imagine there wasn't enough slack to reroute it over there? So cut and splice more wire in and splice the connectors back onto the new length?

The 09-12 regulator mounts differently than 13+ no mods were necessary is I remember correctly.
