Is the Jerez Moto Gp Test televised today? If so, what channel can I find it on?

CaptainCrash 03-24-2013 09:06 AM

Another testing ruined by rain. A few dry sessions, but mostly ruined.

I hope this is not Rossi's official 2013 helmet. :thumbdown

Negative on that, at least not here in the U.S.

A little off topic here, but the coverage of F1 on NBCSN have been awesome. All practice sessions, qualifying, race, and a post race show? And don't forget beIN for SBK. C'mon MotoGP (more like SPEED) get with the program!!!

CaptainCrash 03-25-2013 08:43 AM

oh well, there goes my dream of NBCSN or beIN hosting MotoGP. :bawling

I watched him last year and seeing his numbers this year so far crutchlow is going to be a good contender this year. Throwing down some awesome times.

Crutchlow will be battling for 5th most of the time. I wouldn't look into test times to much.

Why I know is that with a decent bike Rossi is still alive and I don't care about anything else :)

It will be good to see Rossi take on the best & toughest competition he has ever faced.

Not counting the duck. hehehehe

Does anyone remember when Rossi said in bike racing "its 80% rider & 20% bike".
hmmm wonder if he still feels that way????

I'm betting he does. It still holds true to an extent. You can't expect to beat treks and cannondales with a walmart huffy.

Yes, I just compared the Duc to a huffy. :laugh

So now, there are 6 (4 hondas, 2 yams) bikes on the grid that are basically equal so it def will come down to the rider.

I would disagree, Look at the success Stoner had with the duck.

Another thing, I think we all agree Nicky is not the caliber of rider as Rossi,
But He has looked as good maybe better than Rossi on the duck.

Clearly the duc is not the best bike, I was however surprised Rossi could not "with all his talent" do better on it.
& you gotta know that Ducti did all they could (moved Heaven & earth) to help him.
Lots of ??????'s here.

Sure going to be an interesting season.

That argument is flawed. Stoner last had success with the Duc in 2008. Since then the japanese bikes have improved drastically while the duc has remained stale.

If Casey came back today he would fail miserably on the Duc. It's just not as good a bike.

and they did not do all they could do.. Progress moved at a snails pace and they wouldn't listen to there riders. Honda would show up to a test with an entirely new bike while Ducati would bring a new swingarm to try.

Why do you think Prezioso (sp?) was fired?
