How often does CotA host motorcycle trackdays. How much does it cost?

I'm a member there. I highly recommend you check it out. The people running the place are great people. The track is pretty smooth for the most part besides a couple sections. I love the San Marcos(Texas hill country) area as well. So i enjoy it for sure. It's a nice spot. And the memebership fees and initial sign up were a fraction of the cost of other clubs. And the don't do any of the $20 session fees that MSR does...I like to ride a lot so it saved lots of cash without having to pay session fees

Ridesmart.info

They have some track days there coming up. It usually cost more than most track days because it's a legit moto gp type track.. I think it's like $400 thru ridesmart. A little too much IMO

What about when we put our elbow pucks on the ground?

The organization I work for is hosting 5 weekends (10 total days) at CotA this year, starting next weekend and going periodically throughout the year. The cost is still super high though, at $485/day.

My neighbor runs a 12 Cayman R out there pretty often. I'll ask him about the track to see what he thinks about running a bike on it.

Collin Edwards(moto gp for anybody that doesn't know) just got done hosting his class there... It's a great track for bikes, lots of different types of turns, and hair pins, lots of elevation change, it's a good track to improve your skills. It is however a little rocky in some of the run off areas, which could end up being pretty bad...

H2R Motorcycle Track Days
I rode there once, and they didn't enforce their rules very well, which resulted in a lot of dangerous passing. When we mentioned this to them, they really just blew it off. I would rather ride at a safer track.

It's also a very bumpy track. Here is one of my videos:

I have been over there just to watch. I have also heard it is a bumpy track, but that could be a good thing. Good because if you can be fast on a werid surface, you cab be fast almost anywhere.
Yeah I have heard they dont enforce the passing rule very well. AGAIN this is all word of mouth, so take it as you will.
I'd like to go out there but I need to have my track suit alter.

Repaved....

Ok so I made it out to Harris hill almost a year ago. Its HELLLA bumpy....got my man parts checked a few times when I tried to get on the gas. I was say, 50% at that time was bumpy. I had fun. I got sacred, and got "buzzed" a few times by much fast riders. It was my 1st track day out there, and I see why people fall in love with it. Its kinda like a Rodeo out there, they bike check that RideSmart does, doesnt really happen out there at the HILL. However, you can be out on the track for as long as you like. None of this 20 min session. I Probably stayed out in 30-40 min increments when I went. (NOTE::: my suspension was not set up when I went...)
MSRH is a lot of fun on our bikes, so far that the only other track I have been to, and I have been there twice. Loved it each time.
Now that being said, I plan on going on this coming Sunday, with a buddy if it doesn't rain to bad and they just repaved it like 2-3 weeks ago, so I bet this next time if I go it will be a better experience(& I got my suspension tuned to my weight by Keith in San Antonio). I'll keep you guys posted if I do.
