I'll add to the conspiracy theory here and point out that his father also owns the track for the Brno round as well... not for nothing I think there may be some truth in this conspiracy.
I personally am split on the issue, he wouldn't be first racer to get a ride based on nepotism so I wouldn't single him out, but that being said I would rather see Eugene Laverty on the bike... I think he has earned it more than Abraham.
I would have loved to continue seeing Laverty in MotoGP but not on the GP15. That is a waste of his talent compared to what he can do with Aprilia in WSBK. I'm sure he was given the option but it is a fruitless position. I think he will place in the top three for 2017 WSBK.
