I'll keep this thread going through out the whole build.
Got outside today as 7 degrees finally came so I could use mastics and glue and then actually cure.
Cut in a 400x700 panel 2mm mild steel which I had already prepped and painted at work few days ago in the warm basement. Used tiger seal and watertight rivets for the panel. Had used this method before on another van and had great results.
In the centre of that panel I cut in my flattner tcx2 wind powered fan to give clean fresh air and to help with condensation.
Then i used the foil wrap to cover the ceiling and fit the first half of the 2x1 which will hold up the panelling.

Vans getting there pretty sure it will make it by the 23rd of march which is my first track outing. Couple more days work and I'll be done. Having the time around work which is the pain.

Started the insulation in the roof today. The vans flying together and should t be long off completing.
Passed its mot with no advisories so that's a very good positive. Just had to change an o ring on 1 injector. I'm getting excited to get the bike mount in and take the van for a rip to test the thing out.

Are you going to have a door from the cab area to the back, when it's all said and done?

No, there's no space to get from the cab to the back the bench and drivers seat cover the entire space. There is going to be a 6mm Perspex window (tinted) to allow light through.
Don't want anyone to have the ability to crawl or get through from the cab to the back and somehow steal stuff. The doors will always have there extra locks on so will make difficult unless you cut your way in, which I'm hoping I will hear.
If it was a camper to say stay a week somewhere I would of designed it different and pulled out the front bench and fitted x2 spinning seats. When this one is dead I will buy a long wheel base high top and make a epic one.

Thanks, waiting on a fiamma awning for the side so will give some outside space to plot the bike if it's raining.

nice! bike stand looks good. I have the pitbull trailer restraints in my trailer but those require mounts specific to the bike. I like how universal yours are. Giving some great ideas. Good up the good work
