I really like 14/42 -1+2 from stock. Really wakes the bike up without loosing alot of topend.

think im going for the 14/42,see how it runs ,it seems to be most popular im going to do the 520 conversion as well, its known to gain a very small amount of hp not much but it all adds up

I am running a SuperSprox Hybrid Rear 520-45t sprocket (+2); Vortex front 520-16 (-1)t; and a RK 520 chain on my '15 636. I am pleased with it. It gives one a quicker rpm kick. Yet, I does not buzz one to death on the Interstate.

Another thing I would offer up to sort of "finish the deal" is to order up the throttle tube from a 2013 Yamaha R6. Straightforward swap out. The R6, due to it much higher rpm requirements acts like a quick turn throttle tube on the ZX. Cheap, too < $30.00, pt#: 2CO-2624-00. You'll be glad you did.
