Ah yeah...sorry, I forgot you're still going through college. I totally understand. The fact you're even doing track days while going to school is already pretty impressive. I was counting pennies when I was in college! lol...barely had enough to fill up the damn gas tank once a week lol

Wooooohoooo!!!

Oh wait... I won't be making it this time. Gotta work and make some money. I need rubber and we're starting to get extremely busy at work with more jobs coming in. Bad combo for doing a two day track event. Shit happens and I am bummed I'll miss the season opener for the first time in about 6 years.

Light rain in the forecast. Hopefully it doesn't rain too bad. Crashing sucks.

I kinda hate to ask, but how did it go? If weather in Buttonwillow was anything like it was further north last Sunday, I'm guessing it was pretty darn wet.....

Sunday morning was great started off a little cold but by lunch it was roughly 65-67f ish but by two it was raining heavy enough that practically everyone stopped. And Monday I heard it was wet from the night before but the whole day not one ounce of rain! Kinda jealous I picked the wrong date haha.

I'm gonna revive this thread because we had briefly tickled the idea of doing a forum track day. I'd like to propose a date:

September 16th and 17th Pacific Track Time is doing a weekend at Buttonwillow, which is centrally located and apparently you can do both days for 240 bucks.

Let me know if any of you would be down to do one or both days. I'll most likely camp. But I figure this is a good option because it is affordable, central for all the peeps who can't go all the way up north or down south, and it's a full weekend so people can still meet up with other members regardless of what day they go.

Thoughts?

https://www.pacifictracktime.com/tracks/

Once I get a good idea of how many would be interested I'll start a thread in the West coast forum.

I'm down if I can get a ride up there with @Felixthecat .

I should actually say down there since it's going south from here. I still have to check my schedule
