MotoAmerica VIR May 12-14

This year I'll be volunteering as a Track Marshal. Should be fun, but due to unforeseen circumstances I won't be doing the TD on Monday. Lots of things to see and do there, I highly recommend it!

You use my own words against me!

Lots of rain yesterday. Today has cleared up nicely. Which made a lot of the practice in the rain on friday a little moot.

Our man Backmarker has done really well in my opinion. I'll let him talk about his accomplishments, but I must say how impressed I was watching him around turn 1. His throttle control is amazing , especially in the wet.

Am I the only one that thinks Beach and Gerloff are sandbagging in Supersport?? Those guys are in a class of their own (with Debise as well, though he's pretty new to MA). I mean they're running faster lap times on 600s than almost half the field in Superbike/STK1000! They need to move up to the big bike class.

Benny Solis, who btw is fast as hell, finished 3rd and was almost a minute behind the leader!! That shouldn't happen in any championship in a middleweight class! lol

I helped Debise after his off at turn 1. I'm not fluent in French, but I could tell those weren't happy words coming out of his mouth.

I also helped Caroline Olsen, she was a little dinged up.
