I Ride: 2008 kawasaki zx6r
Post front and rear sprockets

i have a 2008 zx6r I want to run it on the track I'm using 16 sprocket at front and 43 at the back any help on getting better sprocket ratio or the sprocket I'm using is ok?

I Ride: '06 ZX6R, '14 Ninja 1000, '08 FJR, '06 GSXR 600, '11 KTM 690 Enduro R
That's stock gearing which is pretty tall for the track. I think typically people start with -1/+2 compared to stock (or 15/45 on your bike) then vary around there depending on the track setup.

How long is that straightaway?

Unless it's really long and you're close to the top of 6th gear there, you can probably change your sprockets to at least -1 on the front. Then see how that goes and if you need you can always change your rear to either a +1 or +2.
