So today I low sided after work on an on ramp to the highway. No excessive speed or anything just my own dumb ass fault for reacting the way I did. I was turning right onto the on ramp at 25, while in the middle of this turn I see a lot of red brake lights from vehicles in front the driver in front of me panicked and slammed on her brakes. My first reaction was to try and stop so I grabbed a handful of brake and lost the front tire. Silly of me when I realized I should of just maneuvered around the way they teach us in the safety course but I reacted before thinking. I'm fine for the most part I have a total of a baseball size of roAd rash on my pelvis and knees put together( in my work uniform jeans are very thin) I was wearing my joe rocket jacket held up just fine ap* gloves did ok seam came apart but no injuries beside a sore left hand arai helmet pretty scrapped up did her job thank her for that and in work boots which held up well no twisted ankle or anything I think I did pull a ligament In my left leg feels real tense. I still rode the bike home as pissed as I was tomorrow I will have a look at her and get a run down of parts I will need and want. Always have to find a good in a bad situation. Bad I fell on my beautiful bike and slightly injured myself could've been a lot worse. The good I'm ok enough to keep going to work make that money fix my bike put some shiny new parts to her and come home to my loving family. Thanks everyone for reading and thank goodness for vicaden:)

Sucks to hear this but glad that you are relatively alright. Bikes can be repaired but tend to those injuries.

Bad news! But at least you know what you did wrong and you can learn from it. Just keep positive, bike and you will better in no time.

Purchased engine ice and distilled water to flush coolant.
I've been giving it some thought and I know late but for future mistakes I'm going to be going with ordering protection first before order fairings after looking at the damage and thinking could it have been saved from most of the damage done. I generally think yes most of my engine case bolts have been shaved down due to the pavement and plastics is a given got trashed.
So for now I have my order from attack coming in. Most likely gonna order case savers and sliders all around forks spools etc. more than likely woodcraft
