Top of The World

This is one of the roads leading up to the tail of the dragon. runs underneath the foothills parkway.
Couldnt believe it was almost 70 degrees in february, so took a chance with rain to make a run.

My camera stuck in my buddies car following me. The dragon is so remote i was just glad to have someone els there in case of the worst.

this was the only time durning the trip i saw rain, but man was it hard to stop!
had a blast and cant wait for the summer for more riding!

PainfullySlo likes this.

Looks like a cool road except for how narrow it is if traffic comes the other way.

Your video reminds me of the day we left from our trip to the Dragon in 2015:

Wasn't quite that wet!

What kind of camera are you using?
Your video quality is much better than mine

Looks like a fun ride. I really need to get back to that part of the USA. I haven't been to the dragon in about 10 years now. Is there still that little ice cream place 100 miles after the start of the Cherohala coming from Deals Gap?

Wish I could tell you, have yet to ride the cherohala skyway.

Sounds like I have another reason to ride back down there I suppose
