Will this work for my bike? | While the fairings and many external components are similar, the motor was completely redesigned for the F model (ZX-6R 95-97) so I wouldn't recommend it for anything besides maybe torque specs, maintenance schedules, and just to use as a reference to point you in the right direction for working on your bike.

I've only actually seen 1 other ZX-6e. Soo rare... but maybe that's just my area.
Also, why'd they design 2 motors...? Which is more HP? I'm pretty sure the actually ZX-6E is slightly heavier but has more power, correct me if i'm wrong.

The ZX6E is the older design so heavier and less power. Let me see if I can remember exactly how the whole 600cc ninja lineage goes. from 88-96 they made the ZX6C which was called the Ninja 600. Then in 91 they came out with the ZX6D which was called the ZX6, then it got upgraded in 93 and the model designation changed to ZX6E but still badged ZX6, then in 95 came the complete motor redesign and the addition of the "R" to the ZX6 name. Thus was born the ZX6R. they made the ZX6 and Ninja 600 for a few more years b/c they sold well and its kinda what they did with the ZZR from 03-08, sold a well designed older model for a cheaper price for people who didn't want to pay for the latest and greatest.
*Edit* I may not be exactly correct on the years of the ZX6, I'll have to check into it.
