i dont know about you guys but a i personally found out that my bike power wheelies by accident. racing a subaru sti and i was at about 4k rpms in first and just twisted it and the front end went up really really fast. freaked me out like hell. so i let off all the way and then twist it again just not as fast this time kinda trying to keep racing and by about 10k rpms and came up again. fist time it happens so scary. almost shit my pants. but then again i'm a newb. only been riding for 6 moths or so lol. after that started trying it and found out that it comes up in secont gear too. just twist it from low rpms and at about 9k rpms and atarted coming up again. pretty cool stuff.

02 636 = yes in 1st, not tried to do wheelies at all.
did it the other day unintentionally,
pulled away from the lights in 1st but the car in front slowed so I didn't change up to 2nd, just cruised in 1st behind the car while he was dicking around between 2 lanes, probably doing about 15mph, soon as he moved over I pinned it to get past and the front came up about 18" I would guess....stayed up for 4 or 5 seconds and then slowly went down, got a little "twitch" from the bars when it touched down,
I wasn't expecting it, never pinned it in first like that before...but when it came up I stopped twisting the throttle and held it where it was until the power sort of levelled off and the front came back down.
Don't know if it would have gone higher had i kept winding the throttle back to the stop
To be honest I'm not into wheelies myself, looks good when others do it and it's done right...but it's not for me |

Yup, through 3rd or at least that's as high as I have pulled it up just through acceleration. But I am running -1 +3 sprockets so it is to be expected

03 636 -1/+3. I feel that the front tire is VERY light and sketchy at anything full throttle above 10k RPMs.
It feels that it wants to wander if I am in any kind of turn at full throttle and high rpms.
For example; When passing a car and coming back into your lane, It feels loose?
Anyone have experience with this? Any adjustments to compensate?
And yes I know this is old, but I'm curious what the more experienced do to control this feeling. (besides letting go of the throttle )
