So I've slowly been doing more stunts, but with my recent totaling of my last bike (non-stunt related) it's in the back of my mind I could ruin this current new bike. How much do those cages/etc, not sure whats all available for bike protection, actually protect the bike from damage? I just have frame sliders for now. I'm going to go out on a limb that there is no amount of protection that can actually protect the bike body panels from protection right?

I'd go with race rails before I'd go with a full stunt cage. You'll have all of your lean angle still.
Kinda like these... |

That's what I'm wonder ^ as it looks like a really good set of frame sliders that stick out decently will do the same as those rails...??

id say the rails / cages are a lot better than just the crash bobbins
stronger
just watched a lad (stunt show) turn the bike round power sliding along with the rails on the ground
(yea they wear like that but looked good trick to lol)

If you dont plan on stunting then go with race rails. If you dont plan on stunting but want optimum protection go with a street cage. If you do plan on stunting go with a full stunt cage.
Cage Manufacturers: Sick Innovations - sportbike stunt parts, sportbike aftermarket parts, stunt cages, crash cages, rearsets, subframe cage, motorcycle stunts, engine cage, stunt pegs, round bars, 12 bars, clip ons, stunt sprocket, stealth rider, motorcycle stunt video http://tygersharkcages.com/ Freestyle Ingenuity / F I Cages.com - Home ATown Customs Racing 905 Impaktech | Facebook
When it comes to bike protection ive done it all from building my own to seeing all of these manufacturers products put to the test.

The race rails hold up good I wrecked about about 2 years ago and only had a couple scrapes on my plastcs but nothing cracked or broke. I'd rather have them then sliders. If you really plan on doing more stunts I would go with a cage. They are around $250.
