The 07 zx6r is a bit work to wheelie. Other 600cc i can do power wheelie easily on 1st this one you have to be on high rpm. Clutching it up on 1st though is easy and cant ride it till i ran out of rpm but for some reason clutching it on 2nd gear(sitdown) whatever i do i cant get it up.It'll come up maybe 2 inch off the ground Im sure im doing something wrong but for sure ill get in there. Im just so spoiled on liter bikes that you can clutch it on 2nd gear at low rpm and itll come up easily.

although mines geared different now it still came up in second, yet the other week i just got the front wheel a few inch up though it was spinning the rear.
i relised it was me and timing clutch dump to revs wrong

practise and more practise .. im still struggling but enjoying it

watch downshift83's video playlist. click on the link and go to youtubes site so you can view all of his vids.

here's a good one that i've posted a few times on this site. he has cameras showing his throttle and clutch hands.

So I got it in first, what I did was go about 20 mph, sit back, and tack it up a lot and let her rip she came up finally. Only a ft or so but still glad to see. Next went to second at about 30mph sat back in the seat and fooled with it until I finally got a nice pop at like 10000 Rpms, anything less makes the bike jerk but not pop up. So that is where I am now. I still feel like getting a new chain and sprocket downshift83 in that video mentioned that he did the same to his ninja on the later bids he posted. What will I gain and lose from doing this upgrade.

if you go smaller on front and larger on back (and new chain) youll pop it up easyer
but lose top end speed also it will rev higher at say 70mph etc
mine runs 7000rpm at 70mph

this lads not bad in helping out
