So after crunching some #'s $ wise I decided to make my main bike a stunt bike.
I ordered a Sick Innovations cage and a 12' o clock bar. I didn't like the fact that their "stunt pegs" were not actually advertised as a sub frame so I waited to buy that. Are they still very strong and still a sub frame or what? If not what do you guys recommend to protect that part of the bike? Any other stunt parts you can recommend for someone new? I'm looking to start off small, basically mastering the art of wheelies and then maybe think about "lot" work.

ok.. well.. actually sick innovations crash cages suck balls.. everything els is good.. your gonna hit your shins on that cage all the time,, and it will roll over to the tank.. i would cancel that before it ships and then get in touch with impacteck...or and yes there are very mixxed emotions but I run freestyle.. to me by far his is the best. there is reason behind that. The sick innovations subcage is great as well.
What kinda of stunting are you trying to go for,, simply street or lot, or both, gearing is a very tricky thing..
for great positioning of the clip ons.. just flip them. in other words put the right one on the left and vice versa.. that is a quick easy thing to do.. took me about an hour.

i'm guessing you leaving the fairings on etc so a cage is a must
well a must id say for any stunter a set of bars if you going further into stunting it or as above ^^^^ flip them
im thinking about getting better rear pegs as my foot slips off the standard ones and they also have the chance to fold back up
ps videos are good on here to lol
edit ... so on that note what rear pegs are out there

I can't believe I bought this back in October, and literally installed it yesterday lol.
I wish Sick Innovations would advertise that the cage is NO cut as everyone told me that I would have to cut into my fairings so I bought extra dremel bits, etc. and was one of the many lame excuses I came up with putting off this "project". Took my brother and I a little over an hour as we had to drill out one of the bolts on the frame sliders that were installed by the previous owner as it was stripped. Anyways it nicely bolted up. Looks spiffy and I laid it on the ground carefully to see what would contact. Weird feeling doing that to my bike lol. I'll post pictures later. It'll probably be a while till I install my round bar hahaha.
