Ive been looking into them for a while now. Havnt had much luck finding them for 09+'s but ive been looking pretty hard into Blindside Armor. I have a few buddies running them with excellent results!

never heard of blindside armor before so idk but most people i stunt w use Sick innovations, impacktech, a-town custons, tygershark, racing 905 but go with whatever you wanna its alot of preference its alot of trial and error until you fing one that works for you

But from what i understand sick innovations doesnt make one for 09+ but i could be wrong.

believe it or not,, cages yes can be made on your own, i did it as well.. but there are alot of trial and error when it comes to makeing one.. I run and fi. never had any issues with it. im a local boy so he only charges dealer cost. my buddy chase is running an impackteck crash cage and round bar and sub cage.. a few other friends of mine are running the same thing. the only thing i dont like about impachteck is its very bulky. thats why i weant with fi for the crash cage. its light weight and was the first..ive seen bikes loop out on the highway picked up and rode off with this cage. but like as said about its all preference and some knowledge to go with it. another thing with the fi cage is that you can still get low on the twisties with it as well.. alot of other cages will scrape. Now fi subcages are trash. go with impacktech or sick. on tail protection that one is tricky bc the only one that makes anything for that is impacktech and its a special deal that he doesnt do for just anyone. and its hella expensive. I wouldnt have a sick innovation cage for our bike unless you have shin guards. tiger sharks bottom mount is trash in my opinion. a town is very bulky as well.. another thing to remember, bulky is not always good. you want a cage to break before your bike. not only that some cages might be better for another bike then the other.... now that ive rambled any questions?
