i disabled my kickstand sensor though, so i can start it however i want. my sensor was dickin up and kept stalling my bike, so instead of replacing it, i chopped it and spliced it. problem solved. and now i can start it with the kickstand down. and i can keep it running when i put the stand down.

Thats why I want to make my bike die when you put it in gear with the stand down. Previous owner pulled something to make that not happen. I have had that happen. Middle of the apt complex but luckly it caught and just caught and flipped the stand up. Still just about as embarassing as when my pant leg got caught on the peg at the light and I ALLLLLMOST fell over.

Yup, that's why I'm glad that my bike won't go into gear with the stand down. I can start it, and it'll run with the stand down, but if you shift into first it will die. I certainly don't want to be that guy!
