And especially, this.

You don't need to reflect on the decisions in your life based on if someone else thinks it is a good or a bad idea, mate. I'm surprised someone would even begin to judge your purchase and subsequent plans for it as 'smart' or 'stupid'.

See like I said u got to word u r stuff better.... I do hit the stunt spot with some of the best.... and I'm not trying to sound tough. I know who I am and what I'm capable of and I don't let know one talk down on me like that. Over the Internet, face to face it dont matter.... There is a thing called respect. N there was nothing respectful in the post you put.

Don't let Burt Toast get to you, he tends to run his mouth around here, but he's all talk.

Some of the stunters I know, with the 09-12 ZX6R, will run an extra fan on the radiator, activated by a toggle switch so they can turn it on before the bike hits 212 (or w/e the fan trips at). That and the additional air flow helps keep the bike cooler. Dunno if that setup works on the 2013, but it's probably worth looking into.

If you want the breakdown on fuel management systems, take some time to read this thread.

Aren't their companies that allow you to flash your ecu to adjust when your fan comes on? It would be dumb to spend a couple hundred dollars to replace a toggle switch, but if you're going to get a power commander anyway, might as well make it fully adjustable.

Shouldn't really cost more than a few bucks to wire up a manual switch for the fan?

On a side note...we have a ruff ryder here now. I feel badass by association

Part of the idea is that you are adding an additional fan. So the second fan can be turned on anytime, left on after the bike is shut off, and when combined with the stock fan flows way more air through your radiator, helping to keep it cooler than that single fan can. But like I said, that was for the previous generation of the ZX6R, which had a fairly small stock fan. I can't remember how large the new 636's fan is. But regardless, if you hook it up to a toggle, and run the power directly from the battery, you can leave it on after you shit the bike off, which is nice to do when your bike is at 236F at the time you want to turn it off.

No, some of us actually contribute, and respect other people's opinions and riding styles.
