01 6r and wheelies

My bike is lowered 2 inches with stock drive.
At what rpms should I shoot for when I pop the clutch to get a decent jump?
I am having a problem consistantly getting the bike up.

Any advise would be great.

Depends on what gear your trying. It would also be in your interest to go -1 +2 with the sprockets, it'll make life much easier and save your clutch some trouble.

lowered suspension and wheelies generally dont mix. It can be done, but requires extra finesse and smoothness. Beware of bottoming out when letting it down.

i had an 98 with -1 +4 gearing and it came up real nice. im now -1 +15 so it comes up whenever i want. well when it actually has a good motor in it anyways. . i could even clutch them up in 5th and my clutches were slippin.

With it being lowered will make any wheelies a bit more work.
+1 on the sprocket swaps.

...

if your bike is lowered 2 inches and you are just learning to do wheelies you are gonna mess your bike up man... atleast until you learn to gently set it down instead of letting it just come down... being lowered when u let it slam down u will bottom out...

sounds like you need some nitrous

just curious but f it's not a drag bike, why would you drop the front end that much?

much more precise and you can do stuff faster at low speeds.

it's not for the faint of heart, i've seen a bunch of people hurt themselves and their bikes with dinner plates on the rear

goin up that much in the rear has a lot of advantages for stunting.... for instance, when i clutch it up and catch idle its a lot easier to cruise along without worrying about hitting the brake a little too much and having to gas back into it

Sit back further on the seat or put your left foot on the rear passenger peg(be carefull with this method) With -1 +2 you should be able to power up easy.

Idk if this wouldn't be a good place to ask but since its getting thrown around... would -1 +2 still be good on highway or long trips??

Not sure about your particular model. On mine when I went -1 in front only it raised my highway revs significantly. It's not bad at all but I'm not sure what -1/+2 would do for you...
