2014 zx636r first gear wheelies

Tried power wheelies on my new 636 in first gear and it almost feels like the traction control is still on even though I've turned it off.

Roll on then off as little back brake dab then whack her open but she don't lift.
Anyone found the same? Bike on standard gearing

i can get it to power wheelie in first no problem, but i need to sit back on my seat more. personally i prefer clutching them up instead. first gear going 10-15mph it'll come right up with a little clutch or 2nd gears going 35-40mph

If you have difficulty disabling your TC then maybe it's not time for wheelies....?

Use the clutch. It's like a front wheel lift button. At least that's been my exp.

Get going 10-15 rolling on smoothly. Use one finger to dip the clutch as if to shift. Release aggressively but smoothly. Only go for a few inches at first. Always cover the rear brake.

Once you've done it a few times... Go find a twisty road (pref a track) and start actually having fun.. (Meaning IMHO wheelies are pretty lame. Not knocking you. Just not my thing.)

Some put a tc bypass in to leave it disabled.

Power wheelies in first

I can stand it up about 3.5 to 4 feet in first gear just powering it up
