Can only do one good wheelie

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, although I have been doing a lot of reading on here. First off here is a little background about me; I've been racing motocross for many years and I bought a 2007 ZX6r a year ago. It has 2 brothers exhaust and -1 +1 gearing.

Anyways, here is my problem... I've been doing 2nd gear clutch-ups for quite a while now and can ride at BP no problem. BUT i can only get it up once or twice and then it becomes nearly impossible to clutch it up. Almost like my clutch just wont grab as quickly. I thought for sure my clutch was bad so i replaced it with an EBC kevlar clutch kit (friction disks, steels, stiffer springs). Unfortunatly I am still having the same problem. I can do 1 or 2 good wheelies and then i cant do any more unless i wait like 15 minutes.

Anyone else have this problem? Or any ideas of what it could be?

Btw i run Amsoil 10w-40 motorcycle oil, so I know its not from friction modifiers in my oil.

Hey I appreciate the tips, i did actually watch the videos. I'm no stunter (yet), but I can assure you that I am actually pretty good at wheelies. I can clutch it up nice and easy in 1st or 2nd gear. I just don't understand why it gets so difficult to clutch up after my 1st or 2nd wheelie of the day.

Welcome!

What speeds are you going? (Especially when attempting the 2nd and 3rd)

Are you feeling the clutch slip at all?

After you do your first few wheelies, what happens when you flick/dump the clutch?

Got any videos? (Hint: to avoid flame, film in parking lot... )

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'

The only time a leader should use the word "I" is in the sentence "I have to shit"

'In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.' ~Some dude named Friedrich

'Never trust authority implicitly. People are fucking scumbags.' AvE

It will happen more frequently as you get older.
We just don't have the stamina like we used to. Just ask your wife.

I usually do 2nd gear clutch ups at about 45 mph. Ill roll on the throttle at about 7-8k rpm and give the clutch a quick flick and it'll come up nice and high, but very controlled. By about the 3rd wheelie it doesn't bring the front wheel as high and i have to compensate by giving it way more throttle. By the 4th or 5th wheelie attempt I can literally give it full throttle at 8k rpm and flick the clutch (same exact clutch motion i always do) but the front wheel wont come off the ground hardly at all. It doesn't sound like the clutch is slipping, but it feels like it's just not grabbing as quickly as it should. Then if i just ride around normally for 15 minutes or so, then i can do another wheelie.

Na. No way. Look, I am in my mid 40's and I still f like I did when I was 20. I just like to F. When I had a girlfriend it was 4 or 5 times a day. She never ever said no. Except for when she was on her period, but she still "took care" of me. Too bad she was crazy. I can't do crazy.

Is your bike losing power or your clutch slipping? I can't answer your question but I'm interested to know what the problem could be.
