so i think if you take your test on a 500cc and you are not a youngster
you can ride anything you please
i think the restriction is just to stop the youngsters going out and killing thereselves .....that is left to us older blokes .......hehehehe

if you feel comfortable on your bike take the restrictor kit out, but even with it in it should hit 100mph

Hey kenny its to do with the air ram induction if you restrict the air thats flowing into the airbox it should run alot smoother and at least hit 120mph...
iv my 97zx6r doin 130mph restricted and all iv done is blocked off the air ram induction modified the air box and messed with the pilot screws on the carb...

a 33hp bike should still do 100mph.

its funny but for a long time the only bike above 250cc that you didn't need to restrict to make 33hp was a Harley. Says a lot about those heaps of shit.
