mines restricted via washers in carbs. mines not to bad lower gears, just dies out in higher gears. i got 125mph out of it over the mountain when i went to isle of man so sumit wrong there i reckon.

there are a few threads about restrictor kits already .......
best thing for you to do with a restrictor kit is
take the washers (restrictors ) out and throw them in the bin
you still should have the throttle linkage restrictor fitted (you will know by twisting the throttle if it only turns abit you have got one on)
just use it like that .......you have the sticker of certification stuck on the frame ......

i think the restriction is mainly down to age
if you are a pup you get restricted for 2 years
if you are an old dog like me you wouldnt

must have been changed | Yep another thing we can thank the EU for, and the next wave of licence changes is even worse.

That's gotta blow, you can buy a Busa and ride it with just a permit(yes you'd be retarded to do so and probably die) if you want. Then when you go to take your test you don't even have to take it on that bike. I have a friend who went to the DMV on a 150cc scooter and she got her motorcycle licence on the scooter. Then again Maryland has some jacked up laws when it comes to many different things. I hate this state.
