Hi guys,
I am new to the forum, just cancelled my ZX7R due to not being too sure about the history of it and bought a 2005 (non underseat can) ZX6R today and pick it up on Saturday, I have had ZX9, CBR6, FZR6, Thunderace but really canny wait till I ride this lovely blue ZX, anyone else got one of these and how do you find them.

What do you mean by no understeat can? 05-06's do infact all have underseat cans.
I have an 05 and I wouldn't trade it for absolutely any other Kawi 6 out there.

Well over here it's on a 05 plate which is 2005, it must be an 04 model but registered in 05 if you know what I mean, but hey it's a lovely beast.

OP,
03/04 zx6rs have side mount exhaust.
05-08 have under tail exhaust.
you sure you bought an 05 and not a previous year?
or did the original owner make a custom side mount exhaust?

Sorry I know it may be confusing, my ZX6R has a registered plate 2005 but the bike itself is 2004. It just means that when the bike was new it was not registered on the road until March 2005 making is registered 2005 if you know what I mean.
