Best make of brake pad for zx6j1 ?

Hi I'm going to have a crack at changing my front brake pads on my
2000 J1 zx6. Can anyone recommend a good quality make?
There are so many out there!
Any help would be great thanks
Mark

EBC, Ferrodo, and Kawasaki OEM are all good.

Big fan of SBS brake pads, sinter for street dual carbon for the track. Work great on the 636 for sure, Here's a great write up on em. Chris Jensen knows his stuff.....

I've always used EBC HH on all my bikes. When I did try something different I went for Galfer HH rear pad for KTM 950 and the pad came away from the plate in under 100 miles of use. Lucky I was changing the wheels for the street setup and when I took the rear wheel out the pad fell out.

I like Vesrah, Carbone Lorainne, and SBS for fronts. Same for rear, but I also like Brembo on the rear, too.

Cyronn, I'm not too much of a fan of Galfer, either. Most especially, if you are using them for track days. Everybody has their favourites, that's all fine.

Some like Pepsi, some like Coke, and then some prefer RC.

That's why I try different brands of pads -and take lots of notes after rides, trips & track days - so that I make my own conclusions for what's best for my riding style.

Pidge1969, best-o-luck with your discoveries.
