Supposed to open up the throttle to lighten the front end and be very light on the bars. Thank god I haven't had one yet, I'd need new underpants.

Glad he made it out the way he did. Only thing I can say is that by the way that road looked it didn't appear to be the smoothest of roads to be going that fast on.

I Ride: my 03 zx6r real hard
not excited for the day to come when that happens to me. my buddy who i ride with has a 05 r6 and he says its happened once or twice to him and he just throttles out. idk if its true or not but i guess its worked.

obviously the last thing to do is grab the front brake.

I had a pretty aggressive tank slapper coming into a fast sweeping right hander a few seasons ago on my 08 R6. How it happened i do not know but i tapped the rear brake a little and got on the throttle HARD kinda out of weird instinct cuz i tensed way up but she straightened out luckily.

I'll tell you, I had this happen but not at that speed and it scared the f*ck outta me. Damn, I couldn't imagine at 145 though. OMG!

Yeah, saying "do [anything]" with the throttle isn't the greatest advice when you can't even hold the bars.
