This Guy Needs To Go Away for A long Time

‘Habitual traffic offender’ in Pasco jail after running over motorcyclists

Robert Vance is being held without bond at the Pasco County Jail. He is facing one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one count of leaving the scene of a crash involving injury and one count of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Florida Highway Patrol says Vance is classified as a habitual traffic offender.

These people make me not want to ride on the street at all. And the million other times I've almost been hit from other drivers texting or putting on makeup, etc.

This was the 3rd video I saw over the weekend regarding car vs motorcycle road rage.

Shit just ain't worth it. Get your 'fuck you" in and keep it moving. Or probably better just to shut the fuck up. Motorcyclists ALWAYS lose in these situations. Shit aint worth it. We just had a memorial ride out here in San Diego for a dude that was run down on the highway by some woman in road rage. Was she at fault, absolutely, and she's locked up right now. but if the rider had just kept it moving after the incident, he would still be alive today.instead they played chicken on the highway fucking with each other until she snapped and hit him and killed him

Just some food for thought.

Both of my roommates don't ride on the road anymore. One has a supermoto he takes to a track every weekend. It's pretty cheap, like $40 for an all day track day. And my other roomate just goes to the track once a month. We are all so busy that it's hard to get riding time in anyways. But the thing with me is if that happened to me, I'd be pissed and they would know it. But I'd need to figure out when enough is enough.

If you pay attention to the rider, you'll see he was reaching for his gun. He was gonna put a cap in his right then and there instant justice

Oddly enough, I'm an MSF instructor and I teach beginners how to ride, yet I haven't ridden on the street since fall of 2013. And I can't say that I really miss it either.

Yep. He was on a duc, she was in a civic or something. Could've easily disappeared but for some reason he let himself get run the hell over. RIP but... for real, don't stick around road ragers. Nothing good for you will ever come of it.

What chaps my a$$ is if the roles were reversed a motorcyclist would be brought up on stiffer charges in the neighbourhood of attempted murder, etc. Motorist rarely are sited or charged as harshly as a motorcyclist.

The reality is, this butt-wipe did not think about injuring the riders, he was hoping to kill them. He should be brought up on charges that are germaine to the situation.

Not sure the charges could be more sever for this guy:

He is facing one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one count of leaving the scene of a crash involving injury and one count of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Florida Highway Patrol says Vance is classified as a habitual traffic offender.

They say in the story there may be more charges brought.

Unfortunately its another of the stories that starts "A Florida man ..."

True. One time a guy followed me all the way to my house and stopped in front of my driveway as I parked my bike in the garage only to yell at me and call me names because he didn't like that I passed him a bit close at the end of an ending lane (merging lane). There was a lot of things I wanted to say, but chose not to. I doubt he could've heard me with my helmet on anyway.

Was too slow to get out of the way, or stalled on him but seriously, there's no excuse for this and it should be treated as attempted murder. Regardless of any supposed provocation a reaction of this magnitude is on the same level as if he got out and shot him and could not be remotely justified by any reasoning, and to turn & run someone over can only be described as deliberate and intentional. I have been on the receiving end of something very similar where a driver, fully aware I was beside him (I know this as fact as I looked directly in his eyes), proceeded to turn into me while traveling 80kph and try to run me over/off the road, and I didn't even do ANYTHING to him. I was fine but super pissed (ps: he lost a mirror for his efforts). So I have nothing but hate for these people.

Hog rider was just interviewed on news broadcast. He said he OFTEN counsels cage drivers at stop lights on what they are doing wrong. I want to hear the other side...
