Personally... I find going a buck forty through turn 1 at Laguna Seca - a blind left-hand turn, over a hill, with nothing to tell you where you're going besides aiming at a telephone pole on the horizon as your ass comes out of the seat and the front wheel comes up - then to braking as late as possible and dropped 4 gears before going into turn 2 much more exciting than this.
But that's just me.
Yeah - travelling in a straight line at high speed with miles of straight road ahead is not nearly as thrilling as slowing down from top speed with the rear end fishtailing, into a 50mph corner while not being 100% sure you're gonna make it...
Weaving through traffic certainly adds a dimension, but unfortunately also does a lot to make other drivers more eager to cause trouble for others of us out there minding their business on public streets
