WTB 07-08 Akrapovic Full System

I was able to found a barely used Akrapovic Slip-On for my 2008 ZX6R.
However xD I really would like to hit a full Evolution or Race system.

"2007-2008 Kawasaki ZX6R Akrapovic (Evolution / Race) Full Exhaust System"

Anyone out there that has one that would wanna part out their full system. I can always re sell the slip-on.

Very interest for a reasonable price with shipping included or local pick up in South Cal.

I have a semi full set (just missing headers) it's pretty beat up but willing to part with it.

I am surprised noone has explained to the OP that he will not be able to piece together a full system using his slip on unless custom modifications are made.

You would be better off selling the slip on to fastbike02 and breaking open the piggy bank for the $2400 full system.

Ohh I did not knew that, why would that be? Is not the same catback (slip on) part?

I guess for motorcycles it works different than it does for cars. I can even mix brand on the exhaust easily for cars.
I think the Evolution one brand new is too expensive. Cant find cheaper than over 2k. However, I can consider just going for the Akrapovic Full Race Exhaust for around 1.6k. I would think the only differences between the two is the weight material. Hopefully I am not wrong.

I will let you know first If I decide to just purchase a new one.
Most likely will be just the race since the evolution its soo expensive new.
But if I decide not to than I will just put the slip-on that is still not in my zx6r and just sitting home.

You are correct. Manufacturers make them incompatible with different pipe diameters so even if you found the components you are still going to have to do some custom work (good luck finding someone who can weld ti for cheap).

Bumping xD,

Still considering buying a decent full exhaust akrapovic to save some good $$ before purchasing a brand new one x-x and spending the $$$$

I think not that many people these days would be parting out their exhaust for a 07-08, this probably would it been different years back xD

I paid 1.6k for my Evolution version. Don't ask me where because I completely forgot its be a few years. But for what it cost, it's truly well worth the money. Akrapovic take detail into consideration for their exhaust, so I can see why it's worth what it's worth. Titanium is so light compared to steel. Night and day difference. Goodluck on your search for a deal.

Dammm, nice found Sir. I wish I would it got my bike earlier. Now a days it is so hard to find for 07-08 everywhere I am looking is out if stock! Probably will not get anymore. If I were to found the Evolution version for 1.6k I would jump on it right away.. But I can only find the Race one for that price range.

I don't think many people have the full system. Most aren't willing to buy a $2000 exhaust, and even then it would not fit with the slip-on. On most bikes the OEM headers are smaller in diameter so the slip-ons are made to fit those. Whereas the full systems come with larger diameter pipe and therefore a different can (even though it may look the same as the slip-on can). I'm going through this right now for my R3, also looking at Akrapovic.

You'll have better luck finding headers from a different brand like M4 or Leo Vince and they might fit because I'm guessing diameters are the same as Akrapovic...but then it wouldn't be titanium. But you'd at least have a full system.
