Possible ticket

I didn't know were to post so maybe some of u Cali guys here have some input. So I was finishing up with my ride down the mountain and I saw an older jeep in a drive way with a camara strapped to the hood. It was in the middle of the turn so I crossed the double yellow because I focused in on it, and lost track of the turn. So I pass it up and it pulled out Behind me it followed me for about 10 seconds. At this point after I saw it pull out of the driveway I slowed way down. So he stopped and I guess turned around. I'm wondering could this have been some kind of police sting and I'm gonna get a ticket in the mail or could it have been someone just recording some action out there.

I would imagine it isn't a police sting...they probably would have it set up to pull you over on the spot or shortly after... Besides how will they ticket you? Think the camera was good enough to get your plate and face. I think they need both to actually give you a ticket.

I wouldn't worry much over it.

Well this post is proof I'm not the only paranoid SOB on the net . Many people put cameras on their jeeps to record the off-roading action. Nothing to worry about bro you're in the clear.

Yeah that's what I figured that If it was a Cop they would of had someone at the bottom of the hill to stop me. Hopefully I'm in the clear.

I think you're fine man. They would have popped you right away. Besides, a police JEEP in Los Angeles?

Well over here, a white Jeep with a camera on the front is a speeding camera vehicle. It takes a picture of your plate and sends it to you in the mail. It sucks! But it doesn't follow you at all.

Probably good to go.
Over here we have a lot of Jeeps and other 4wds b/c of the beach. They typically have a dash cam, and all that stuff though.... I can't imagine that being a cop with a random go pro lol
You would think they would be more discreet if it was a sting, so I think you're free and clear.

Probaly pissed off home owners recording everything and sending it in to the police so they can get some help stopping bikers from flying (DPSL at least) down their street. I dont think you would have to worry about a ticket but be ready for stepped up LEO activity. Its happened here where I am at and I really dont blame the neighbors but the A holes that hit the same street up every weekend. They have gone as far as to put gravel in the turns and dead animals which is very fucked up and out of line.
