Y'all crazy for riding. All the debris. Man hole covers popped out. Flooding. Random puddles. Dirt slides. Accidents like crazy. Shit ain't worth your life, let alone the insurance deductible.

The area out here is so weird. Fashion Valley (about 5 minutes away) is flooded like crazy. But here in Serra Mesa its dry outside. Must be the fluctuations in altitude.

Do all the cars start driving like morons (even more so than usual) in a bit of rain there as well? Another factor, very infrequently does it rain here in AZ but when it does it seems like total panic on the roads I get more scared of the shit I see from others than anything else..

Yes... people freak out and think they're driving on black ice. OR they drive like it's dry pavement and end up wadding up their cars hydroplaning or worse.

It's a true clusterfuck in SoCal when it rains. Even a few drops ona windshield causes panic

I just spent a week in Spokane where most of the roads were still icy... like driving in a dreamland. People actually know what they're doing! So nice!

That's not that bad, you'll be fine.

If you want the breakdown on fuel management systems, take some time to read this thread.
For a walk through on pulling FI Codes, check out this thread.
Questions about Flashed ECUs vs. Fuel Controllers? Try this one.
Got a Z-Fi TC System? Read This to get an idea of how it works.
Here's a link to some Kawasaki Service Manuals that I've got hosted for everyone's use.
And please check out my blog for more sage advice and technical ramblings.

Same shit here! Luckily it isn't too often! That's funny I'm from Washington state myself, been here for like 3 years and I don't even wanna drive the cage in the rain cuz other people..

I lived in PA for most of my life and I've driven through storms that were 50x worse than the rain we had up here in Bako. Never have I heard or seen so many emergency vehicles go by in one day and I lived next to a fire station for 5 years in PA. I was more concerned about the people driving than the actual rain. People in SoCal need a few courses on how to drive in the rain. Motorcyclists needs their heads checked because you have to be mental to ride on the streets with these people and flooded streets.

So Cal may not have the best drivers in the rain, but based on what ive seen from drivers in other states when it comes down to mototcycle awareness/courteousness, ill take cali drivers all day long. Ive never worried about anyone opening their door on me, trying to run me off the road, or raging at me because I dont have to "wait" in line like everyone else.

According to the weather reports it's not supposed to rain tomorrow Friday 1/8. You know what that means !! 4 days of not riding for me. I honestly can't wait
