almost for kill today !

almost got kill today !

Got my rain suit on today and ready for work. I knew is going to rain a lot all day today but the rain never bothers me too much and I don’t mind riding in it.

I was behind a Toyota Yaris and the light ahead turn yellow so she did a hard stop, I saw it coming and was prepared for it, came to a safe stop and left about 5 feet of space in between me and the Yaris (always leave extra space for an escape route and always keep checking your mirrors for cars behind you)

I always check my mirrors every few second when I m at a traffic stop and it has become a second nature to me and it safe my life. I m sure you know what happens next.

I see this car coming at me rather quickly and I was tapping my break then I realize this dumbass is not going to stop in time. I moved out of the way beside the Yaris try to warn her pointing behind her and she looked at me like I m an idiot. Anyways the car end up hitting her at the back and put a nice dent on her bumper.

I end up at work late cause I had to stop and make sure everyone is ok and leave her my contact info.

I was just thinking that I can be laying on the hospital right now or worst.

Ride safe people!

glad to hear that you avoided an accident, that same thing happened to my father but he was unable to move out of the way in time. but it wasn't a bad accident so he is fine and the bike is all fixed now. people here in az always stops real close to me at lights and i hate it...
