so the kit from DDM is PNP?, pull out old bulbs, put in new bulbs (PLEASE tell me I don't have to remove front fairing lol) and secure the ballasts in? any wiring to do, or does it plug into existing connectors? So it is better to get the 9's or 11's for simplicity on a 2009?

thanks for the help!
Yes everything if plug n play. Only one way for the connectors to go in. You don't have to remove the front fairing, but it would be easiest if you remove the black plastic panels just below the handlebars to mount your ballasts underneath those areas. Also, if you order from DDM, I would recommend that you ask if they can send you a kit that comes with male H11 connectors. The kit I received from them just came with two spade terminals for each bulb that plugs into the pins of the OEM harness leaving it all exposed. They say to wrap it in electrical tape, but I don't like that idea. I'd much rather have the appropriate connector. Just specify either an H9 or H11kit when ordering and you'll be golden. Doesn't matter which one.

outstanding, thanks for leading me thru this... if I can get them to drop the shipping charges a bit, I'm going to order tomorrow!

Oh another question, is it possible to angle the high beam Down enough so that when running both lights they are burning someone's eyeballs out?

And, I can still run lights on low beam with only one light one, right?

Ya, I may seem dense, I blame it on lack of sleep with a newborn boy
