I hit 168mph on mine right after i broke it in and was assuming that everyone that buys a race bike races it up to top speed ,....but i was wondering if i was right ?

So the questions are....

A) how fast how you gone on your bike ?

B) was your bike "maxed out" (highest speed obtainable)

c) how often do you hit that speed on your bike ? (i.e. - once or twice, every once in a while , all the time ? )

And just out of curiosity am i the only one who has done this with no gear ? Just curious as in "yes" or "no" not as in a world war 3 argument about gear or how stupid i am.

wish i knew the real mph but the speedo said 174mph 03 636 one tooth down in the front, would need someone to clock me id say 160ish idk . pluse i wear a tech style jacket an helmet, leather gloves, boots

Not sure when I willl try a top speed run, but I can tell you it won't be anytime soon.

topped it out, dont know the mph but on the dyno it said about 150 something as to the top speed i'm not sure but the engine rpms were up there

hit it once while very pissed off one night

and always geared when on the bike

Oh and I do wear a helmet, jacket, gloves and usually jeans and some type of boot.

i moved up here (TO STILLWATER) approx. 4 yrs ago from omaha and got clean and sober.

Unfortunately i started relapsing about a year ago.

Last jan. I went to omaha for rehab and have been there for the last 5 mths. I am in a 12 step rehab program there. I am currently on step 8 and have a couple/few more months to go.

However, i got kicked out for 30 days a few weeks ago because someone there claimed i punched them in the face, so i came back up here to chill in stillwater. I will be heading back to omaha in a week or two considering a bed re-opens up for me.

Why ? Whats up bro ?

Well i cant plan alot but im thinking at least one day of good riding. After I get her put back together.

I ride solo allot to but always fun to ride with a couple peeps.

So also when i did my run i had a allot more so ill have to find out. I'll have to compare my to bikes. My Yama has -1 on the front. So on the one i hit 144 with no speedo healer so i think more like 137

Most I have ever got to is 150ish but I still had plenty left. Thats without a speedohealer so was more like 130-140 i guess. Standard front and back. I quite often go up to 100 but since I got pulled for speeding in my car, I feel a lot more careful as I could do without my insurance going up... oh and the points on my license.

Always wear gear.

I hit the redline in 5th once, glanced down and it said 159 or so. Thats without speedo healer. I was too chicken to hit 6th at that speed. Im usually never over 85. Sometimes squid with a tee shirt, jeans and boots if its above 90 out. Most times wear my jacket, jeans, and boots
