hi everyone im new here but im looking for some help if anyone can. i have looked on the net with know luck. someone on here must have fitted a newer shock to a zx6 f3 . i have a zx6 f3 and want to know if any other zx6 rear shock will fit without any mods of with mods if you know what the mods are. also will any other bikes rear shock fit without mods ifso what bike and years please. thank you and hope someone can and will help me jay

I put an ohlins on my wifes-but I do believe the shock from the 00-02 zx6r and 05-08zzr will fit
Measure the length eyelet to eyelet and the width at the base of the shock to make sure it will stradle the linkage pivot without being too loose. The newer zx6r linkage mounts at the bottom are narrower so these shocks won't directly bolt up to your bike without also changing the linkage.......but that is always an option, get a "new" bike shock with the linkage arm, then your possibilities are seemingly endless.
