650cc is a racing class. It's where the break in class comes. 500cc-650cc-750cc. The point is the 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6rr is the fastest in the world in the 650cc class on engine. 190.118 mph. The rr was the perfect platform to work from.
I went to the Kawi dealer in Loveland this past Friday to pick up a filter for my RR... they were still thinking that one of their guys has the land speed record in the 650cc class. I didn't realize you beat the record by that much. Awesome job sir!!
Thanks. Tell those guys the Throttle Nation Top Speed Challenge is in Maxton, NC September 24-25. We are out to defend our title for the 3rd year in a row and looking to break the 1 mile World Record for the class. That mark is 184.161 mph. Yes it is our record, but we want to move it up. We went 183 in June at Maxton.
ZX-6RR: A 599cc machine homologated for racing in Supersports. A comprehensive race kit available from Kawasaki pushes output to almost 140bhp. It comes with a slipper clutch, an adjustable swingarm pivot and a closer ratio gearbox. It was a £1000 premium over the ZX-6R. on the 2003-2004 model Kawasaki ZX-6R (2003-2004) - Kawasaki Motorcycle Reviews
The zx6r has 1 r while the zx6rr has 2 r's... Was it really that hard to figure out op?.. God I'm spending 100k to go to school and all I learn is that?!... I'm f'ed!!!
So I just got this 06 zx6rr and I heard that only 1000 were made is this true. It sure looks good and I get 20 miles per gallon on some super chip. But god dam it’s fast. In every gear. My Yamaha mt07 is not as fast.
