Question Rear axle nut

Hi there,
Does anyone know the rear axle nut size (diameter)? I need to order a socket for it. My bike is a 2001 J2 zx6r.

Thanks.

you'll need a 32mm socket and tighten to 94ft/lbs

I Ride: Sport what???
I know it's a personal preference thing, but...

I never torque the front axel or the rear axel nut more than 40ft/lbs...it's harder on the bearings. Besides, that's what pinch bolts and the cotter pin are for. In fact, ditch the cotter pin on the rear axel altogether... go to a home depot type hardware store and pick up a few diaper pins and use that instead

Yeah, ditch the split pin and go for an R clip, much better looking!

it's a 32mm, make sure you replace the pin though, they tend to be a pain in the ass and there too cheap not to just replace.

Good news: My IQ test came back negative!!
