oh this is just too perfect. coincidence? 636 miles exactly on my 636? not at all. headed out next thursday, from Riverside CA, to Salt Lake City UT. from my house to my hotel. any advice fellas? theres no way around it, i gotta ride "The Beast", my wife has to have the car for work herself being as she cant, (nor would i let her) ride my bike. Ive made the trek in a car 10 times now, aint no thang, just concerned about being on the back of the bike for that long. working on a throttle lock this weekend. Getting good gloves and a jacket as well. Thinking about leaving SOCAL around 4am, hit vegas about 8-9am. Be in SLC around 2-3pm depending on stretch breaks. turning around and riding back saturday night. leaving around 4pm.

I didn't know the 09's also had a 636!!
The 09's are only a 599 bud.. Sorry to ruin ur day lol..
I've done a round trip of 650 miles before.. Wasn't bad but I'm able to completely relax and not cramp up or get tired.. Stay hydrated and take short breaks when u fill up..

600 miles isn't too bad, unless its perfectly straight.....last time I made a trip like the worst thing was my right wrist (which the throttle lock will fix) and my ass, so within this next week I'm buying a corbin seat......but good luck to ya, and keep up on your gas.

The last 90 miles into SLC has tons of construction. It sucks but the rest of the ride should be fine.
