Alright so I've had some people ask me lately why Bazzaz doesn't have any product for the 05-06 636's since it's such a popular model. Well everyone in the company seems to have a different story; the tech support guy said he though we used to but pulled it when we had to many issues, but the General Manager said we didn't simply because it's an older model. But he said that if I could get five people to commit to buying at least our base fuel control unit that he would let me get a 636 in here next month to develop our system on. That means I won't have to do it on my own time, I'll get paid to do it, and all you 636 lovers will have the top of the line aftermarket fuel control, quick shift, and traction control available to you.
So if you want to be one of the five that pioneer the 05-06 636 Bazzaz Z-Fi development then shoot me a PM. I will also need one person in the LA area to lend me their bike to develop on, and that guy get a free Z-Fi system.
P.S. For the B model owners, have no fear, I'm developing a system for that too, on my track bike.
Long Live the 636!
(I was gonna post this in the Group Buy section, but thought it wouldn't get enough traffic.)
I could loan my bike. I'm in Fresno, but I'm about to not be able to ride for 6 months anyway, so I could make the trip down as my last ride for a while. I think there's a train that comes back up?
Lil has already expressed interest, but hasn't gotten back to me on whether his bike is stock or not. We need to develop our system on a completely stock bike with only a slip-on exhaust. So if Lil's doesn't qualify then I'll let you know
$380 for the Z-Fi (Fuel control only)
$820 for the Z-Fi QS (Fuel control and quick shifting)
$950 for the Z-Fi TC (Fuel, quick shift, and traction control)
$300 for the Z-AFM (Auto Fuel Mapper)
Depending on what u need, i have an 05 with only a two bros exhaust that I would gladly loan to the cause... I'm in la mirada, bout 20 miles south of down town on the 5.... I'd love to buy one to help out with that too, but I'm broke as a joke... :/
I have a 2006 BONE STOCK 636 with the exception of a K&N filter... but I live in NJ... I'd be willing to swap parts on / off etc, test out drivability etc... throwing it out there...
Look guys, I don't need bikes or people to test equipment; we are very well set up to do all our own testing and development. I just need to show my boss that there is a demand for this bike. If no one pre orders our product for this bike then it'll never get developed.
Alright, my GM finally explain how the pre-ordering thing works exactly. You call us and tell us what system you want, we get all your info, including your credit card info, and we won't charge your card until we ship the unit to you. And we'll call you before we do that to make sure you still want it.

hey E.T. i'm new to the site and saw your post here about the Bazzaz unit possibly being developed for the C1 636. its something that i hoped would be possible since it sounds like such a sweet unit.
my question to you is how long is the lead time from pre order to delivery confirmation? i ask because i would like to preorder one but i dont have the $ just yet. ill have it in a few weeks, and i would love to order one for my next 636.
It's gonna be more than a few weeks. I still don't have five pre-orders, only two I believe, and can't start developing until I get three more. If I got three more pre-orders today, I would estimate that it would be around a month before the product was ready to ship.
